At DiabetesWise, we’re always looking to create content that really grabs your attention. We’d love to know which physical activities you find challenging when it comes to managing your blood glucose. Also, what kind of exercise-related content are you interested in learning more about? I’m keen to lower the barriers for type 1’s to do exercise and focusing on cycling. So, any tis on managing levels before, during and after general road cycling would be of interst.
Perfect, thanks so much for letting us know!
Sports can vary so much from aerobic exercise to anaerobic as well as the logistics of wearing a device. It could be interesting to have sub pages for sport-specific questions? For me personally, I have been getting into hiking and trail jogging. I tend to overpack my bags/pockets with stuff particularly on long outings and would be interested to hear what is on people’s “must-have” lists.

I would love to see info on less common types of exercise. There’s so much on swimming, running, cardio that I see people discuss online. Would love to see info on things like rock climbing or horseback riding, for example. I know that’s a tall ask, but could be helpful for those who participate in these type of activities!
Hi @leontribe - I’ve started a post talking about mountain biking with my Type 1 son: Managing Blood Glucose Levels while Mountain Biking
It’d be great to share experiences of cycling with T1D.
I would like to see information for people who may have drastically different levels of physical activity depending on the day and how to navigate days with more exercise vs. less exercise. For example, users can set up to 6 personal profiles with the Control IQ. How do we best utilize this kind of feature for changes in physical activity?
I’d love to see more content about managing blood sugar during workouts especially around timing meals and insulin. Also tips for handling unexpected lows during exercise would be super helpful!
