What Insulin Pump Profiles do people use?

Which is something I’ve been thinking about recently.

I know some users have multiple pump profiles, when we just have:

  1. Normal
  2. “Sick” (higher basal/ bolus)

… & exercise mode.

Exercise mode is fine & gets used a lot - but I have wondered if different profiles for different exercise intensities would work better?

What pump profiles do people use?

I’ve experimented with a fair number of profiles and I am currently testing running under “sleep” and switching into “exercise” when need so far it has allowed me to generate a “standard” profile for my daily use. I just look at the last 14 days chart and graph it and then I have a redefined new profile. I need about 4 more days to get my results. So once I have that I’ll create a regular profile and a sick profile based on that.

At our most recent check-up, the doctor suggested setting up a profile at 120% basal that can be used when our son is sick or has a stubborn post-exercise high.
